The Beckwourth Peak Fire Protection District will be adopting an ordinance titled:

ORDINANCE NO: 2025-02

AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING AND IMPLEMENTING A PROGRAM TO CHARGE FEES FOR EMERGENCY AND NON-EMERGENCY SERVICES BY THE BECKWOURTH PEAK FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT.

In accordance with Health & Safety Code section 13916, the Fire District provides notice of its intent to adopt the above ordinance to establish new fees for emergency and non-emergency services provided by the Fire District.

The Fire District will conduct a meeting to conduct the first reading of Ordinance No. 2025—02 at the Fire District’s Board of Director’s meeting on June 4, 2025 at 6:00 p.m. at 180 Main St, Beckwourth, CA 96129. At the meeting, the Fire District Board shall hear and consider any objections or protests to the proposed schedule of fees.

A copy of the complete ordinance and data indicating the amount of cost, or estimated cost, required to provide the services in the ordinance and the revenue sources anticipated to provide the applicable services is available for public review at 180 Main St, Beckwourth, CA 96129.
