Funding Sources

Three main funding mechanisms fund the Beckwourth Peak Fire Protection District:

• New Special Tax
  A voter-approved annual special tax to be included on the property tax bill
• Property tax sharing revenue as apportioned by Plumas County
• Donations and Grants
