Burn ban is still in effect!

CAL FIRE Lassen-Modoc Unit would like to remind residents that the burn ban is still in effect!

Although we have received some moisture recently, it has NOT been enough to lift the current burn restrictions at the state level.

Open burning is not permitted at this time!

We appreciate everyone's patience and cooperation as we continue to prioritize wildfire prevention and the safety of our communities.

Please help us prevent unwanted wildfires by following all current burn restrictions.
